Before beginning his own practice Eric utilized his science background and law degree to gain experience in multiple facets of patent, trademark and copyright law and the application of those property rights. Prior to going into private practice, Eric held a number of positions with various companies, including Director of Intellectual Property, a position that offered insight not only into the legal aspects of IP but also the practical use and capitalization upon patent and trademark rights. He has been actively involved in overseeing litigation, contract negotiation and customs issues in the US, Asia, Europe, South American and Australia over matters ranging from patent and trademark infringement to breach of contract.
