Bio

In 2000, Janae Long founded Long Paralegal Business Services.  As an independent contract paralegal Ms. Long provides full and diverse services includingexecution of forensic investigations for construction defects, research, trial preparation, and trial attendance and has expertise in electronic discovery rules.  Ms. Long has an extensive background as a civil litigation paralegal, specializing in construction defect, real estate, development law and procedure, and is seasoned in support of wrongful death, elder abuse, personal injury litigation and multiple transactional areas of law practices.  She attended the ABA-approved paralegal certification course at the University of San Diego where she received paralegal certification in 1989.  She currently serves as a Board Member for the San Diego Chapter of the Forensic Expert Witness Association and is a frequent featured speaker for similar organizations. In 2011, she founded JLong Consulting which provides business development consulting to multi-industry service providers.
