Bio

• Gordon Levinson is an accomplished trial lawyer who has recovered millions of dollars for his clients over the span of his 15-year career as an attorney.  Gordon has successfully represented over 3,000 clients, appeared in more than 30 county trial courts throughout California, 3 federal district courts, 4 courts of appeal and the state Supreme Court.

• Gordon is also an accomplished appellate advocate and represented the prevailing parties in the published case of Scheiding v. Dinwiddie Construction Co. (1999) 69 Cal.App.4^th 64, a precedent-setting case that changed the way injured victims of corporate greed fight back against the corporations that caused their injuries. 

• Gordon's earlier professional background was in insurance-defense litigation.  For years, Gordon represented the largest insurance companies in North America, and their insureds.  Gordon's background as an insurance industry insider is what sets him apart from most other personal injury lawyers, and makes him the perfect attorney to fight back against the big insurance companies on your behalf.

• A 1996 graduate of the University of San Francisco School of Law and a member of the Law Review, Gordon is a constant participant in charitable activity through his position as a Director for the Max and Anna Levinson Foundation.  He has arranged charitable grants to numerous non-profit organizations dedicated to social justice, cancer research, the fight against homelessness, the environment and a solution to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, and he has been a substantial supporter of local synagogues such as Congregation Beth Am in Carmel Valley, and Temple Solel in Encinitas.  Gordon is on the Advisory Board of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and is a recipient of that organization’s 2005 Outstanding Community Leader Award. 

• Gordon's past and present professional affiliations include being a member of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, the American Bar Association, the San Diego County Bar Association, the Bar Association of North San Diego County and the Oliver Wendell Holmes Chapter of the Inns of Court.
